Doctors
Dr Cromer is a General Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, offering psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of clinical expertise include, ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders with a particular interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.
Dr. Cromer received her B.S. from Clemson University in 1992 and her Medical Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1996. At Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans she completed her Categorical Internship in Psychiatry in 1997, her Residency in Adult Psychiatry in 1999 and her Residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2001 where she was Chief Resident from 2000- 2001.
Dr. Galvarino is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who has been practicing general psychiatry for over 35 years. He treats adults from ages 18 to 65.
Dr. Galvarino received his Degree of Medical Doctor from the University of Buenos Aries, Argentina in 1967. He completed post graduate courses in Family Practice and Ob/Gyn from 1967 to 1968 in Buenos Aires. In June 1969 he finished his Internship at the Sisters of Mercy Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Dr. Galvarino held a General Surgery Residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1971. In 1974 he completed his Residency in Psychiatry at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Galvarino also offers Christian oriented psychiatric care and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Rhett Myers is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who has been practicing general psychiatry for over 32 years. He treats adults, and geriatric patients, providing a wide spectrum of psychiatric services.
Dr. Myers graduated from Pickens High School in 1965. He received his B.S. from Clemson University with Highest Honors in 1968 where he was elected to Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude from Emory University School of Medicine in 1973 where he was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society. He completed both his Internship in Internal Medicine in 1974 and his Residency in Psychiatry in 1977 at Oakland Naval Hospital.
Dr. Myers was born and raised in Pickens, South Carolina.
Dr. Morrow is an Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist. Her general practice of psychiatry begins with patients 21 and older and she also enjoys working with geriatric clients. Areas of interest include mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorders, and menopausal issues including anxiety and depression.
Dr. Morrow received her B.S. degree from Columbia University in New York in 1969. In 1983 she received her Medical Degree from Cebu Doctors College of Medicine in Cebu City, Philippines. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at New York University, Beekman Hospital in 1985. In 1989 she completed her Residency in Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Brittany Rodgers is a board certified psychiatrist. She is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist as well as an Adult Psychiatrist offering psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of clinical expertise include depression, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, developmental disorders and women's mood disorders.
Dr. Rodgers received her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and her Medical Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency as well as her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where she was Chief Resident. She is a board certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Tridico is a Board Certified Psychiatrist. He is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist as well as an Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults.
He provides individualized treatment for a wide range of psychiatric disorders in the outpatient setting. His interests include ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and complex psychopharmacology.
Dr. Tridico received his B.S. in Biology from Tulane University in 1991 where he was a member of the Randall Gibson Honor Society. He graduated with his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center School of Medicine in 1996. At Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans he completed his Residency in Adult Psychiatry in 1999 and his Residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2001. He was Chief Resident for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from 2000 – 2001.
Dr. Geera Desai, is a General Adult Psychiatrist and specializes in most of the psychiatric disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
She has 52 years of diverse experience with all psychiatric disorders. In 1969 she received her degree of Medical Doctor from BJ Medical College in Ahmeddabad, India. She did her residency at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in Columbia South Carolina.

Therapists
John Dodenhoff is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice. He has worked as a therapist treating children, adolescents, and adults for 23 years, while also serving geriatric clients. John specializes in the treatment of dual-diagnosis, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders. He treats other clients with attention deficit, obsessive compulsive, posttraumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy techniques, and mindfulness training, while teaching anger and stress management.
John is a native of South Carolina, yet worked as a therapist and clinical director at Charter Psychiatric Hospitals in Alabama and New Mexico prior to moving to Greenville. He previously worked with an inpatient crisis stabilization and residential treatment program for adolescents addressing behavior problems and parenting skills.
John received his B.S. in Psychology at the University of South Carolina in 1988. In 1990 he received his Master of Social Work at the University of South Carolina. He was the Outpatient Coordinator for Addictions and treated dual–diagnosis clients at Carolina Center for Behavioral Health prior to joining Upstate Psychiatry 11 years ago.
Susan Essich-Kruse is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families and is a certified parenting instructor. She is approved by the state of SC Board to supervise master’s level practitioners seeking independent practice. Susan’s experience includes treating clients who are experiencing depression, loss, anxiety, divorce and blended families, and those who have been victims of sexual and physical abuse.
Susan received her B.S. as a double major in Sociology and Social Work in 1979 at the University of Maryland, Balto County. She completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland at Balto in 1982.
Pamela von Kleist is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She now has over 25 years experience working with children, adults and families in crisis. She has a strong background in domestic violence and sexual assault issues including providing services to victims and advocacy. Her practice interests are in the individual, group and family treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, bi-polar disorders, relationship problems and women’s issues.
She received her B.S. in Psychology at the College of Charleston in 1984. In 2000 she received her Master of Social Work at the University of South Carolina.
